Background

I operate my business from places in the world which are synonymous with where I find happiness and where my mind and soul can be nourished. Where I am my authentic self, intentional around working with great people, and where I 'refill my glass' through enjoying the simple pleasures of life, surrounded by beauty in its raw and simplistic form; Aotearoa, New Zealand my place of birth, a traditional village on the shores of Lake Como in Italy, and invigorating destinations across the cultural melting pot of Southeast Asia.

Choosing freedom from corporate life and overcoming career challenges such as office politics, toxic workplaces, bullying and gender bias has been one of the most liberating parts of my career journey. These experiences ultimately led to the creation of HerWorX, where I draw on my professional background and lived experience to help people and businesses succeed and transform in sustainable, meaningful and impactful ways.

The HerWorX partnership model - bringing together the best team for each project and operating seamlessly across diverse geographies - is designed to unlock genuine value for every client.

Donna (Lorenzen) Bridgman is a globally recognised leader in the Data Centre sector, recently featured in Data Centre Magazine’s Global 100 Women in Data Centers 2026 (and 2025). She brings deep technical expertise, governance experience and long‑standing international industry relationships to the HerWorX brand.

An Engineering Fellow and professional Non‑Executive Director, Donna is a Chartered Engineer (Electrical & Management), an International Professional Engineer (IntPE), a Certified Project Manager (PMP), a Certified Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI/CBCI), and an accredited global trainer in data centre education and business continuity management. She is also a member of both the Singapore and New Zealand Institutes of Directors.

Donna’s diverse skillset and executive career across Australasia, Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom give her a uniquely broad perspective. She brings a credible depth of knowledge and a practical, globally informed approach that adds significant value to her clients.

In 2023, Donna was featured in Tatler Magazine Asia’s ‘Power & Purpose’ series, highlighting female trailblazers across technology, engineering, astrophysics and biopharma. She is also a recipient of the IM2023 Infrastructure Masons Award for her global contribution to digital infrastructure.

Her Engineering New Zealand Fellowship, awarded in 2021, recognises her significant contribution to the engineering profession.

Donna has held senior leadership, executive management and board governance roles across high technology, digital infrastructure, engineering services, construction, not‑for‑profit, national sporting, renewable energy, power utilities, capital investment, government membership bodies and viticulture.

She is a regular presenter and facilitator at international data centre and technology conferences across the EMEA and APAC regions and has served as a global awards judge.

Donna holds several Non‑Executive Directorships and Advisory Board roles, including serving on the Infrastructure Masons iM Women Global Board as the APAC Regional Chair.

A passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, DEI and STEM careers, Donna champions a #growthlearning mindset and encourages women to #bevisible as they navigate careers in traditionally male‑dominated fields.
